Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room refurbishment was exceptional value for money, and the breakfast was exemplary. However, my room was not as stylish as the photos had portrayed, and it was a bit of a climb up four flights of stairs.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were clean and well presented, but some details were overlooked like the lack of a fridge and the dusty fire escape view. The service was exceptional, with helpful staff all around, although the reception team seemed a bit disinterested. The location had its charms, including some unexpected annoyances like the flashing lights from the 'Bournemouth Eye'. Dining was a mix of hits and misses, but the overall experience was good.
The hotel's location was perfect, right next to the pier and gardens. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. However, the interior has become dated, and the price for parking seemed overpriced for basic accommodation. The WiFi connectivity was unreliable, which may not be suitable for business users.
